Exactly I haven't bought a game since Battlebit Remastered and the stupid devs completely squandered their opportunity to be a Battlefield competitor. Possibly the most depressing thing looking at the most played and top seller list is how many of these games are really just old, it's all 2017 releases and earlier aside from Elden Ring.

I simply don't trust devs to do their jobs these days, may as well have fun in a game engine. It's also worth noting that in their pursuit of shitty live services, there are game genres that most devs have completely abandoned.
