Any thoughts on the strange dichotomy where it can take 27 years to execute someone who clearly deserves it and is clearly guilty, while other times someone gets executed and it's revealed the decade later that they were innocent because of some woman lied?

I would also add, I would use the death penalty for any officers of the Court who are found guilty of any malfeasance that led to misapplications of justice. A cop lies under oath? Capital punishment. A prosecuting attorney hides evidence from the defense? Capital punishment. And so on.
