Also, don't let your hopes get the best of you. By all means, have hope if you wish. But don't let enthusiasm override pragmatism or rational thought. The Democrats cheated to "win" 2020. They're going to do it again, and barely any efforts by the right to stop the Steal actually panned out. Prepare your mind for how you will react and what you'll be prepared to do when you see the 4am ballot dump and Cumala "winning" with 120 million votes. Don't let your hope and excitement build and build only to crash the day after the election. A bucket of ice water to the face is still what it is, but it's easier to deal with when you know it's coming.

In the military, we had something called a PACE Plan. Primary, Alternate, Contingency, Emergency. At least 4 options to deal with each critical step on a mission. Have your Primary be "so much of the nation is sick of the terrible economy and the Democrats that Trump wins a historic victory", by all means. But if you're going into the election with only that Primary, you're a fucking idiot.

That's a big reason why the post 2020 events were such a scrambling hopium fueled shit show. The Right was riding so high on enthusiasm and hope that most didn't really ever stop to consider what would happen if none of that panned out and the enemy actually secured a victory. A fraudulent victory yes, but a real-world tactical victory nonetheless. The primary plan was for Trump to win, and to enjoy the victory. 95% of the right had no other plan whatsoever and that's why there was so much hopium bullshit afterwards. Krakens and lawsuits and secret raids on server farms in Germany all the rest of that happy horseshit. The right was clinging to whatever the little thread of positivity they had left because they did not mentally prepare themselves for the enemy having a say in how the battle turns out. Don't make that mistake again.

Of course most of the right considers cold pragmatic evaluation of possibilities and likelihoods to be "doomerism" so it'll probably happen all over again.
