I get that to a degree, I don't know this guy but I know the type, there's being a centrist and then there's being a hand wringer and that's what really most centrists are which is why I totally understand finding centrists cringe as well and I roll my eyes at it every time. It's easy to play the decent guy being a fence sitter and Tim Pool did that brilliantly well and he got caught out having an affair. I remember watching David Rubin back in the day and I thought he had some decent takes too, yeah he turned out to be a bit of a shady fuck.
