I’d say there are all kinds of privileges (like me having an involved mother and father growing up in suburbs). Some people will have it better in life than others. That will be true until the end of time. I do think that what some consider white privilege in some cases is majority privilege that you can find across the world. Being a Nigerian in Nigeria, Chinese in China, etc. Also part of the reason why it looks absurd to downplay the majority group and distort demographics in entertainment
In 2024 are there times when being a white person will benefit you? Sure, but that is less and less likely and considering how many white people put down that they are minorities on applications is pretty telling. Same with any race. Being black is advantageous in some areas but not others. The broad brush of white privilege is ridiculous because it just comes off as jealousy to dismiss the achievements of a white person as white privilege.
In my career and having worked in HR I’ve become convinced that the best privilege to have is to be very attractive/beautiful. You will definitely get opportunities nobody else will
