You have likely heard of the false allegations of mass graves caused by towns using the same graveyard, said graveyards being old, the decay of the wooden coffins and markers, and the shifting of bones in the ground caused by the "wandering landmine" effect, but I have also noticed that while natives were banned from leaving the reserves without a pass if registered at one point, they could simply deregister and still practice their culture while also being able to vote and keep their kids out of residential schools even if it meant risking homelessness due to getting banned from the reserve by the government without having a pass or necessary government employment.
