If the Chinese can get away with selling a pound of bacon in America for $5.00 instead of $2.50, they will. They could attempt to undercut American food suppliers to try to sell more or maybe corner the market, but the US government would probably step in and start leveraging tariffs at that point (because we want American bacon suppliers to sell over the Chinese). There's an intense back-and-forth behind the scenes of any economy, but the bottom line is that when it's all over, if someone can get away with it, they will. The Chinese don't sell bacon in America for $2.50/ lbs. because - like most humans - they aren't out to make the world a better place. They are out to make money. Even if they were out to make the world a better place, someone who is out to make money would come in and stop them.
