At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the people with actual gender identity disorder are the extreme minority of "trans-identifying" individuals. The majority seem to be a combination "has mental illness, just not the one they think they have" (see: chris-chan / autists), terminal coombrains and genetic deadends using it for social validation / narcissists.

At the end of the day they're all mentally unwell. The question is not IF they're crazy but just how crazy they are.
