A lot of low IQ people have learned to mimic the basic structure of formal arguments without understanding anything about how or why they work. It’s like when a little kid learns a big new word and uses it nonstop without ever bothering to learn what it means. I’ve seen retards throw out accusations of “fallacy!” almost at random. They see these accusations as passwords that automatically win arguments.

Edit: it’s all part of a greater paradigm of language and communication as purely transactional. If your goal is to reveal truth or accuracy to be successfully mapped onto our observable reality, you really have no place in our current discourse.
