Same reason they have been relentlessly going after Musk/Twitter: the shitbag left cannot allow control over public discourse / "the narrative" to be taken from them. Thus, you see all this crap they pull whenever there is something that challenges it. They try to DDOS it. They try to start campaigns on other social media to declare the offending platform to be a haven for nazis, pedophiles, misogynists, etc. They get their cohorts in the financial companies to blacklist their funding. They get their dbag activist friends in Apple/Google to ban it from their respective app-stores.

It's really so simple. The left will not suffer losing control over what/how the public is allowed to discuss stuff, and the reason is that without that constant control, normal people do not become radical leftists. It takes constant indoctrination.
