Not a similar setting per say, but I'd also mention the Avernum games, with some light emphasis on the originals over the remakes. The remakes while better written, also had somewhat "updated" and streamlined gameplay mechanics, which at least to me were not as fun as the original.

Not sure I remember exactly where I got the original 3 Avernum games though. They're no longer sold in most locations, and were instead overridden by the developer with his remakes.
