Man, you’d think criminals would know you do this shit at big box stores where the people with an actual monetary stake are far away and don’t really care what happens in any individual store (and assume they can take an occasional loss like this at any rate), and the clerks are either completely apathetic or explicitly told they’ll be fired if they intervene.
