Turns out, school shooters are actively created by a fucked up society. Who knew?

Every time I talk with a lefty about the ongoing effort to disarm the peasantry, I beat my head against this wall. The problem is that these people have no friends in a cruel and uncaring environment, but no one wants to address that. No one wants to sit down and have a long hard look at how we rebuild everything back into a high trust society where people have communities and friends and family and support networks.

It's always just "Oh, let me awkwardly sidestep that part of the conversation so I don't have to grapple with the fact that the actual problem is civilizational scale and not just a pet political issue".

I was talkign with a buddy the other week and remarked at how it's going to require people reaching out to these untouchables, the social pariahs, and how doing so will jsut get you dragged down along with them. We couldn't figure out a solution, but it's a deep problem that needs to be addressed if we actually want this to stop happening. You can't have a society in which people like this girl can have that level of hatred directed at fellow community members because it breeds the exact response such cruelty earned that school.
