This is a fair point, I actually made this point on Gab to the nazi larpers. Simping is cringe no matter who does it and it was amazing seeing how fast all these "Hurr durr women" type guys immediately turned into the most soyfaced weirdos ever over a cute girl doing a nazi salute on camera. There are the fake tradwomen types but also why I mock men who try to larp as well.

That's not to say of course that exclusively all women who post online are like this because some of them could well be genuine. However the grift and Thot elements shouldn't be underestimated. Thots aren't as dumb as they pretend to be online, that in of itself is an act. They know marketing and they know that the traditional simp leftist market has dried up quite a bit so yes you're absolutely right it could be just them trying to branch out to a new niche.
