Edit: And let’s be real, as to the particular facts of THIS local government. We (that is, everyone but the left) have been asking when the inevitable clash between Muslim values and gay values would arise. We’ve pointed out for years the disconnect between assuming Muslims were all woke Americanized inclusion-hounds and what most of the Muslim world thinks about gay shit. We TOLD them this would come up, and that it would have to be litigated eventually. The left could have got in front of this issue somehow, maybe, but it chose not to. It chose to act like every Muslim is a third-generation light-brown college girl from New York who wears a tiny headscarf to go with her rainbow fist t-shirt.
