Egypt was never majority Greek. Not sure where you got that idea. Greeks were a small minority in the land, concentrated in the Ptolemaic capital of Alexandria. They also arrived very late. Egyptians are also definitely not white nor close. Only Americans would consider them 'white' - as the US government does, bizarrely.
