Read a news story last week about a uni student's union that had tried to pass a vegan menu through and lost the student vote for it. The "concession" speech from the SU was pretty much nothing but gaslighting and direct criticism of the students and how democracy was failing, which tbh sounds precisely how I remember a SU behaving drunk on power.

If Edinburgh's students are so far unconvinced that animal farming and fishing is wrecking our planet and would rather take the words of those with a vested interest in concealing the truth, then we will continue to work to change that
