That whole cognitive imperalism started with "gender dysphoria" entering common knowledge, and the associated idea that pronoun games were necessary to their health, which was during the transition from "transsexual" to "transgender." I don't know that anyone, anywhere, has properly documented how gender dysphoria silently slipped back out of trans ideology, and that's probably the most important thing that's happened since it originally entered the ideology.
