Jihad Johnny is just mentally ill and likes to make up stories. He obviously was not in ISIS, was not in Syria, did not sneak into the US, did not join a "confederate biker gang" (which I don't think exist anyway) and rape the gang leader's daughter, etc etc etc.
He's like a male version of some mentally ill drama queen girls I've met. The main difference being that those girls could just spread their legs to get out of trouble 99% of the time and hide behind men.
This dude by contrast just keeps digging deeper holes until he can't go any deeper, which appears to be now, in Russia, where he's stuck, since he'll be arrested if he leaves. Once he starts fucking up in Russia they'll stick him in a Wagner unit and march him over a minefield.
I'm sure the Russians know all this, but figure they can use him for some easy propaganda anyway.
edit: So I'm watching the interview and he says he was in the US military for 2 years, and "not good years" & "a lotta drinkin". There is no such thing as being in the military for 2 years. The minimum contracts when I was there were 3.5 years. So that means he got his ass thrown out for being a retard and doing the same kind of shit that you see written in that twitter thread. And it's haaaard to get thrown out for just being a drunk fuckup (which is why it took him a whole 2 years, probably) since they'll just keep punishing you over and over without kicking you out and give you lots of chances before they finally write you off as hopeless.
