I guarantee this statement has much more to do with whatever very limited-in-scope definition you are attributing to the term "trad larping" than it has to do with the notion that humans didn't exist within more traditional frameworks throughout most of history.

Confirming my suspicions that this is what is going on here. You are the one who brought up things like nuclear family. Hell, even the notion of male breadwinners and female homemakers that you keep reeing at is a much more broad concept than the version that has existed in the past couple centuries that you seem to take issue with. People make nods to these very broad concepts and you interpret them as being very specific iterations of said concepts because the second the word "traditional" comes up your mind goes to whatever some Wikipedia page or some dictionary claims traditionalism is, despite no one here using the word with such a limited scope.

Of course, this is saying nothing about whether these specific iterations of these concepts are good or bad, I have no desire to get into that. Its just I've seen you go through this with people multiple times now, and while your different takes on things certainly causes some of the disconnect, a lot of it is simply rooted in your very rigid interpretation of various terms that just aren't shared by most people.

Its a shame because while I disagree sometimes, your perspective adds a lot to this board and I think while remedying this disconnect might not remedy the differences in this specific instance, it would certainly lead to a more productive discussion.
