Without the Operation Warp Speed "mistake" Pfizer would have made their vaccine anyway (they didn't take the money). Fauci could operate an illegal gain of function program, he could certainly have gotten trials for it. Remember how they announced the vaccines 3 days after the election to keep Trump from getting credit? They would have announced it weeks before and said he was against this life saving vaccine. No way Trump got reelected being against the vaccine; not doing OWS was a guaranteed loss.

And so now you say he should be against the vaccine, but this is again posturing and the people too obtuse to understand that almost all are in favor of the vaccine because they are too dumb to find out different. He's forcing the left to either give him credit or prove the vaccine is bad, both of which benefit him, whereas downplaying warp speed shows weakness and for those who still believe it's good gives away credit for nothing.

Saying he saved millions is like saying he had the biggest inauguration crowd. The point was never the actual crowd size.
