For some they are too lazy and for others it’s much easier to appropriate someone else’s culture. I love the LOTR books and I have enough respect for it not to bastardize it. Same with other things. Why some people feel that other works by someone else has to represent them is beyond me. Well I have my theories.

But I would say to get people out of the mindset that they have to be represented in anything and that you can enjoy works of different cultures but they don’t have to change for you. Also force artists to make their own stuff and stop this mindset that if something is majority white it needs to be changed. In a majority white country I’d expect to see a lot of whites in entertainment and literature
