I'm curious as to who he could sucker into financing this. It's not like you can claim "it has brand recognition so it will sell" with the string of failures tied to the series. Anyone in Hollywood will balk at the prospect of trying to market yet another reboot. Not even having his name tied to it seems to matter as he shilled for Genisys and produced/wrote Dark Fate. At this point his only option for funding the movie is through a tax loophole in some eastern European country.
