Elon Musk might not be politically sophisticated but I've heard he's a pretty smart guy. I would not be surprised if he put the pieces in place knowing what was coming already. Not saying he actually exposed himself to the woman, but he may have known the accusation was coming, and his announcement to vote Republican (which is the reason he said they would attack him) may have been to head that off.
