Housing prices in Norway have been nothing but bitched about for decades, and they keep rising.

Most people can't scrape together enough capital to even qualify for a loan at this point, not when we're paying 25 NOK/L for gas and 5-6 NOK per KWh of electricity. It was something like 0.25 per kWh last year.

They've now drained the reservoirs so low to export power to UK and EU they're starting to hint at blackouts or forced shutdowns of industry on cold days come winter.

Most people can't feel it yet, but Norway has taken the steps towards the largest cost of living increase and quality of life decrease we, and many Western nations, have ever seen.
