I've skimmed through the whole thing.

The bit everyone is seizing on appears to be a brief mention of "maybe inappropriate?" showers with her father, but on the very next page, she also writes about 'Not letting myself go to the bathroom' and 'being wiped until too late in the game'.

Reads more like she was thoroughly, embarrassingly coddled and treated like a 4 year old for a significant chunk of her childhood, and she is assessing how that may have impacted her.

Beyond that, the diary is typical woes of a millennial white girl approaching 40; She is deeply dissatisfied with her life and horrified to have reached the age she is at without having a family. The tick-tock over her biological clock is deafening and it is ripping her apart. She attempts to piece together where her life went wrong. There are numerous comparisons, lists and tables detailing the ups and downs of past relationships, her wants, insecurites, desires. She hates her body. Her breasts, her butt. She's insecure.

She is obsessed with sex. Sexsexsex. Great sex. Amazing sex. She wants sex. And she gets sex. Lots and lots of sex. But no long term relationships. No family. At times, she's aware of how hypersexualized she is, and understands that this can't be normal, but she seems stuck in a mental loop, reverting to the same pattern of behavior again and again, unable escape it.

The daughter of the president of the United States has spent her entire life being pumped and dumped. Or maybe she does the dumping, because none of these men seem to be the Mr. Perfect she wants.

One of the funniest is on page 53, where she lists the pros of a relationship with a tall, strong man. She is 'crazy attracted' to his height and 'physic' (Her writing is not great, and her handwriting is somehow worse than mine despite growing up as the daughter of a US Senator), and she feels 'super safe in his presence'.

Pros to the relationship: "<3 one another <3 family's 1:1 value - family"

Cons? The first one she lists is:

Don't share similar interests: Guns vs Fashion

Here she is, panties on the floor for this gun-toting family loving chad, but the FIRST thing complains about is that he doesn't care about FASHION!

I laugh my ass off at this woman's sense of priorities.

With regards to Joe Biden, I think the diary is worthless junk. But as a window into the problems of post-wall geriatric millennial white women, it's a fucking doozy, because there are millions of Ashley Bidens all over the entire western world. This is the diary of the daughter of the President of the United States, but it really could be the diary of literally any childless woman her age.
