I think the only reason I didn't fall into it with them was, partly a growing awareness of gamergate and what we called SJWs, and partly I was dealing with depression and I completely isolated myself off from others.

I'd say 75% chance I'd've fallen for it too if I didn't have those two factors in my favor. Even higher if I was coming of age right now and not the early 2010s.
