I don't have much useful advice unfortunately. My job sent out an email the day the mandate was announced saying they know how upsetting it might be and blah blah blah blah. They said HR would send out more information on what the deal is later, and they still haven't sent it. I doubt they're willing/able to police this. They're having a ton of trouble filling open positions, and they're probably not keen on making that problem worse. We technically have to be licensed to work in the largest city in the area, and they can't even keep track of that. Last time my license expired it took them 2 years to get around to making me get it renewed. I might end up getting saved by my company's bureaucracy being so cumbersome it trips over itself trying to do anything.
