Well...let's look at the facts.
-- The original creators are now trans.
-- They kind of hate the fact that the Red Pill metaphor is used by libertarians or anti-woke crowd.
-- They haven't made anything worth a damn ever since the first Matrix and clearly are just back on the Matrix train because they have nothing else to offer.
-- They subscribe to the idea that the Matrix was a metaphor for trans.
Yeah, I think it's gonna be pretty fucking woke! But honestly? Who cares? After the first lot of crappy Matrix sequels, who could honestly give a fuck one way or the other about this dead franchise?
I mean I can understand Star Wars and its universal appeal. It's Star Wars! Fans will always keep coming back to it like the battered spouse in an abusive relationship hoping it will be "better" next time, but honestly? Who was clamoring for more Matrix after that first shitty trilogy? Didn't everyone just move on and stop caring?
I mean I kind of like the first movie and I do like Bound quite a bit as well...but after that? The Wachowski's did nothing worth of interest. The Matrix Trilogy was utterly forgettable when looked at as a whole.
They were one hit wonders and nothing more...and even then, they stole a ton of shit from Anime and Sci Fi in general so they weren't even that original to begin with...so yeah, I have no care in the world for whatever this is.
They made a new Matrix? Great! Can't wait to put it on my Ignore List. Not even for the "wokeness"....it's more because I just don't give a fuck about this franchise.
Although, it might be a good derpy laugh if it is so over the top woke :D
