It’s basically the Chris-Pratt-kicks-alien-ass show. Oh and he has a lot of black people around him at all times. Somewhat overt agenda if you’re looking for it, but not obnoxious about it.

Try not to think too hard about the plot holes and it’s an okay enough action sci-fi. Just don’t expect much other than pew pew and exploding aliens. You really don’t care about any of the characters except Chris (and even him not so much), but the aliens look cool at least.
