Im on the same boat I didn't even say I liked it but I defend it because I see it as a similar thing to the whole 1980's arguments against fiction (and it's basically just the trendy thing to attack right now) I also see it as giving ground to the left sjws who use loli as a scapegoat to attack anime( and actually they call everything in anime as pedo ).
