Meanwhile, over 90% of the population is under a draconian lockdown untill, in all likelyhood, late april or mai. The epidemic not ending thanks to a lockdown, but by seasonal change making respiratory diseases harder to spread.
By the same logic the government is currently using, they would lockdown like that entire regions for several weeks every single Winter because flu season always end up blasting hospital capacity over 100% several times a year. ( some hospitals regularily peak over 130%, often over 100% without any particular reason, just from poorly managed system ).
There is nothing rational about locking down now but not every year when flu season hits. This is insanity.
