They must have not been correctly social distancing or wearing masks or saying Black Lives Matter enough. That's the only way this thing can possibly spread.
There is someone in my personal life who still gets emotionally worked up whenever they see someone not wearing a mask. It's a visceral reaction and almost instinctive.
I've tried to talk it out, and remind them that even the experts they like admit it's not a perfect shield - the emotional reaction deepens. It's Bad when churches have outdoor assemblies, but it's Fine when the protestors are out in mass crowds, because they're totally all wearing masks. Doesn't matter what the churches do. Doesn't matter what anyone does if they're culturally offensive to the left.
It's an emotional release at this point, and an excuse to be horrible to people. I'm getting very tired of it, a lot of the people buying into this ought to know better but are hitting the easy button when it comes to critical thinking. This person describes themselves as a moderate and wears it as a badge of honor, but takes the default democrat position on almost everything.
We've more or less stopped talking about this stuff completely. There's no reason anymore.
Does he make you wear it when you're just hanging out or whatever? He'd be getting a "go dilate" from me and I'd let him just reeee and fuck off if he kept on about it.
Only outdoors. He lives in a downtown metro area, so it's largely to avoid trouble from any authorities. The furthest I take it is having blue lives matter neck gaiters, which annoys him, but I figure it's fair. He's imposing on me in other ways.
I'm actually surprised. I thought they would ignore it and move on. Those rules aren't meant for the elites, after all.
Well, they'll try to appeal to the people that think that trump is careless. "Look, we really take that virus seriously. Unlike an orange entity we'd rather not name".
On the other hand, I wonder: The number of people that are fed up with the panic only grows. Appealing to those seems like a losing game.
Trump getting it and recovering from it was probably the best thing that could happen to him from a campaign perspective. Now he doesn't have to pretend to worry about it anymore.
Didn't she and Biden just have a rally in Arizona where only 8 people showed up? This is probably an excuse to save her campaign from embarrassment while playing the "I'm making a sacrifice for the good of the people" card.

Should have just called your campaign a protest, I've heard that the virus is socially conscious and its communicability drops to 0 in a protest area.
Dems have to pretend to take it seriously since they've hitched their wagon to it to such a great extent.
