Substitute police out for pretty much anything and swap out hate whenever it is something that they support and you will have the moral framework for these guys. If it wasn’t for double standards they wouldn’t have any at all
So fun thing I've seen first hand multiple times from multiple people, and note the following statements (while not exact) were in the same conversation.
"fuck the police, defund them"
"go arrest people not standing exactly 6 feet apart because covid"
"the government is fascist and oppressing people in the streets"
"fuck the second amendment, you don't need guns"
"why aren't gun owners out there stopping the government?"
"I have guns" (and note that they aren't out there fighting back, clearly they're retarded and hypocrites)
Etc
There's no reasoning with these people. None. They're fucking brain dead and shitty people who deep down know better but can't bring themselves to admit it
It all comes back to not wanting to admit that they want to be the boot, I think; they aren't actually against brutal authoritarianism, they're just pissed that the laws stop them from doing crimes and abuse instead of stomping on everyone else who just wants to live their life.
