but here is the harder pill to swallow, so was the original "civil rights" movement - just they had much tighter control over their optics and the patience to keep the heat on the frog low
The British did a lot of terrible shit, and a bunch of shit that were clear and obvious violations of Colonial English rights...
... but the Boston Massacre wasn't one of them.
As for Kent State:
The Communist """""peace activists""""" tried to burn the ROTC building down with everyone inside. Casualties from the burning down of the building were zero because the cadets reacted quickly.
The Ohio National Guard's unit commanders were criminally incompetent and disorganized.
How they treated Barry Goldwater for opposing the creation of protected classes in Federal Law is alarmingly similar to what they are doing to Trump. Difference is that Barry never stood a chance against a media onslaught during a time when literally the only 3 television channels directly opposed him and claimed he was a racist psychopath. Every major newspaper in the country slandered him. Even MLK compared him to Adolf Hitler.
It's also alarming to note that almost the entire media eventually rescinded their claims about him after he had been a senator for so long. They publicly admitted that they felt bad about what they did to him.
3 decades after those apologies, and the DNC is literally repeating LBJ's propaganda from 1964. The exact same lines.
The corporatist Democratic establishment need to be called out for what they are, particularly Hillary: Johnsonian Democrats.
Kennedy was the last real Democrat. Johnson and those who came after are authoritarian socialists who are continuing FDRs mission to destroy the spirit of America and reshape it into something closer to the Soviet Union that he admired so much.
Kennedy was a blip. He was part of a relatively liberal ruling elite in an era which had already seen most of the elites move towards Fabian Socialism.
I can't imagine having to go back in time and try to explain to someone watching the 1960 election that Nixon was a Democratic Socialist, that Kennedy was a Liberal, and that FDR was a Socialist/Communist.
Oh, and that Ronald Reagan will be the primer example of a Conservative Republican.
we know blm is a bunch of commies

The Boston Massacre was the original Kent State, and the soldiers were justified. Don't mob armed soldiers and you won't get shot.

"RONALD REAGAN?! THE ACTOR?!! *THE ONE WHO TESTIFIED FOR THE COMMUNISTS?"
I feel like being from 2020 gives us the power to mess with people in various points of time & space.
