It's no different then when leftists cite and quote random shit out of context without understanding what is being said or the background of it. It's just "MUH STUDIES."
Compare this to every other disease. It's very rarely purely the virus itself that kills you. The virus weakens you and puts the body in a vulnerable position to be damaged much easier by other conditions.
Influenza is the same way.
We gain nothing by becoming like the anti-science left.
Technically, no one dies of the human immunodeficiency virus. They die of whatever infections they get after HIV has destroyed their immune system. Is why it was able to circulate in the population for decades before the CDC was able to pinpoint that all these weird infections and people with an unexplained (perhaps genetic) lack of immunity/wrecked immune systems did indeed have a cause, and weren't just random, unrelated weirdnesses.
I was about 12, my mother was a hospital dictatypist, in 1980 when this case walked in, his lungs full of some vaginal fungus. Had everyone in a real tizzy.
Yeah all I really want is a number calculated in a manner consistent with how flu deaths are estimated each year. I doubt we'll get it though: the data we have has been so corrupted I don't know how one could derive meaningful statistics from it.
I hate this shitty meme going around.
