Marxists in academia and in the media, doing anything they can to destabilize western nations so they can impose communism.

I wouldn't lump all Democrats into this, although obviously the radical left votes Democrat and plenty of Democrat politicians are playing into the hands of the Marxists (knowingly or not).
COVID-19 is just another opportunity for the Marxists to damage the economy in the hopes that it will be easier to replace it with communism. The fear-mongering and hypocrisy coming from the left about this epidemic says a lot, in my opinion.
I'm fairly certain it was engineered, but that isn't necessary for it to be used as a bioweapon like smallpox blankets. China encouraged their people to travel to problematic areas for the CCP, while closing internal borders.
Our commies will naturally do the same thing all the commies do, try to exploit an opportunity for power. I wonder if the initial release was accidental and if the FDA/CDC preventing prudent responses(testing in January, home kits, border closures, etc) is completely intentional.
That's what I believe. So far I don't think someone created the virus and unleashed it intentionally for some nefarious purpose, or any plot like that. I just think that Marxists realized this epidemic was an opportunity for them, and they're now using it to reach their goals.
I doubt the release was intentional, but bat lady is already dead so no one will likely ever know. It was probably engineered. There is pangolin coronavirus and HIV DNA in there that doesn't have a good explanation.
I don't mind mad scientists doing crazy shit like that, as long as they do it safely with a strong moral institution to reel them back in. Commies have as good a grasp on safety and morality as they do on economics.
I can believe it was engineered and released accidentally. That would explain the cover-up by China in the early months of the outbreak.

The mistake here being that a crashing economy is a godsend for the left. It's not. Our current economic model is based on retarded global trade systems that just play leap-frog with debt responsibility and hope nobody notices.
I love the idea of our economy crashing.
It let's me easily convince people of what is obviously true: We do not need a trade relationship with China; We can produce all needed food in our own country without immigrants; We have virtually unlimited energy potential through nuclear power; etc.
