It's alright, the same sort of people that made them social pariahs and sneered at every opportunity about their "childish fucking job" are now the same people who'd ensure 95% of these guys couldn't even get their foot in the door.

Hobby grows in popularity, there is now a social advantage to being part of said hobby even if its to say youre in a niche thing
Women now sense that the hive mind finds the hobby acceptable, so they invade
