I really hate the way chynese over enunciate everything with exaggerate facial movements when they speak, like they're always in some mao era propaganda stage plays
English pronunciation is just as weird to Chinese as Chinese is to English speakers. P's and B's are separate letters, L and R and no trilled L, vowels have high and low but it represents emotion not a different word.
I don't mean the pronunciation or the accent, it's the affectation, if you look at Chyna Chinese TikTok clips vs other Chinese speaking people like Taiwanese, Malaysian, Singaporean, mainland Chinese always seem like they're in a play or giving a speech instead of just conversing like normal humans
100000x funnier than anything SNL has done in decades.
Edit: This is true not because this skit was very funny, but just because SNL is that unfunny.
There does seem to be a link between compelled speech and forced conformity and terrible comedy.
Only have to look at British comedy to see how they have fallen off when in only a few years ago we had cinema like this
8 out of 10 cats is not the same without the original captains

Isn’t part of the point of all this that China had tariffs and played other games with us before all this? It isn’t them retaliating but the US.
