Lack of competition? There’s a ton of competition out there. The problem is people seem obsessed with watching the next new thing and will switch to whatever service has it.
The competition is not very competitive. EDIT: Look at their competition. Disney+/Hulu, Peacock, Amazon Prime, HBO etc. All those streaming services are seriously lacking when it comes to selection. And only HBO is releasing TV shows that can match what is coming from Netflix.
I know of a neighbour who comes home from work and binge watches movies until the early hours of the morning. If you're not paralised by the paradox of choice, it is addicting.
True. Back in the day the video/dvd rental was a great service and when I first subscribed they had a lot of good older shows to watch but now their original content is so predictable. I mainly watch older stuff now so those free services like Tubi or Pluto have massive libraries of old stuff
No surprise. Saddens me that Netflix has as many subscribers as it does

And normies are too retarded to find the free streaming sites that give away the same content.
My boomer parents have an account. Being the first in the game Netflix has all the old people.
