Oh I see them using his race as a reason why Harry's mom doesn't pick a relationship with Snape over Harry's dad.
Didn’t even think of that but I wouldn’t put it past them. I’d love to see an actor turn down a race swaps. Will Smith turned down a Superman offer in the 90s but I can’t think of another example
IIRC Idris Elba said something along the lines of refusing to play James Bond.
He said he didn't want the part because he's too old to play it. He was asked about playing Bond in an interview and he that was his response
