No, you refuse to acknowledge the details because it undermines your point.
If compassion was enough to guarantee the reward no matter the ignorance or naivety, then you, right now, should be going out into the jungle to help tribe's people. And when they kill or torture then kill you, you get your reward that supersedes all other things.
The fact that you, and most, aren't means there is in fact a level of nuance to this you are trying to sermon around.
What details, then?
That they made a dangerous and risky choice that invited evil into their home, and in exchange made their own child suffer immensely for it.
I've made my jungle point enough times that its obvious you refuse to answer it, which says enough about your mindset of "just say God and don't think further."
You mean taking in a foster kid? Is it unjustifiable to adopt foster children?
Protection of your own children take priority over all things a parent must do. By your own logic they selfishly chose a "reward from god" over their own child's protection and ruined their life while almost getting them trafficked/murdered.
This was a nigh certainly seized child from a dangerous mother, whose file they would have seen and known prior to agreeing. That means they willfully took on that risk through either pure naivety or selfishness to show their "compassion."
Again, since the "reward from god" is worth all things, why aren't you currently in the jungle?
