Welcome to Hololive's 'crossroad' event as this can get worse or it can better, we have examples of both:
When Doki was forced out of Nijisanji, it quickly aired out ALL their dirty laundry more than the firing a year before to the point their non Japanese reputation is in the toilet.
When Silvervale, Vei and Nyan left Vshojo, they actually IMPROVED as Kson said herself she got a better deal because of it and the additions of people like Henya and Matarakan really boosted their reputation.
So Hololive can go worse or better, I feel like it's the shareholders and investors direction that COULD kill them over time.
I feel the odds are it will get better. Yagoo still has the controlling stake of the shares, so for all of the doommongering that happened he does actually have the power to tell investors to fuck off if they do something he disapproves of. On top of that, while we dont know exactly what the issue was, it seems like whatever happened it is isolated to Fauna. Shiori was standing up for the company and directly addressed many of the issues in her own stream, and with her past life of having to deal with bad managers and abusive companies it is unlikely she would keep quiet if things were actually bad. And you had Kronii, who is notoriously pessimistic and has had issues with perms in the past, also say that she thought Holo was fine.
So I think it will be something they stumbled with, but they will bounce back. Kind of like when they lost Coco years ago.
