I hate the fact that "muh automation" boogeyman is still a thing. If Musk truly believed that AGI was just around the corner, he wouldn’t be sperging so hard about importing jeets. Heck, suppressing wages is about as anti-automation as you can get, as automation needs to become even more efficient to actually replace x number of workers.
When you put it like that, it's a bit of a white pill.
All AI has done is turn Pajeet code from bad to passable. Companies will hire more Pajeets to increase their productivity now that they aren't a net negative.
This was how it was always going to happen. People like buckminster fuller and carl sagan hoped that this would allow all humans to reap the benefits and pursue more mindly things.
But all its going to be is another way for the rich to become god kings, their goal the entire time. I may not believe in god per say, but I definitely believe in something and bits of the bible.
Like the part about greed.
The only thing musk is doing is making it a reality mtv show where they are trying to pit people against each other and buy as much time as possible. Seems to be working rather well.
At some point, a sizable plurality will realize that the only way forward is backwards. We already have a blueprint for navigating the technocratic hellscape being forced upon us by the Elons of the world: the Amish.
Or get high and rob a Target. We already saw a preview of the faggy UBI world during the COVID lockdowns where no one had to work and got stimmies for existing, and there were no great intellectual pursuits to be had.
What is the difference between that something and god?
