I know there were black warriors in the Iliad but I don't remember any in the Odyssey. I'm guessing we are getting black "Greek" gods again.
Well Zeus was always going out for a pack of smokes after his escapades.
He did abandon most of his offspring
Where there any mention of an actual black warrior in Illiad? We've studied it in school ages ago but I don't remember that subject being brought up.
Memnon
There weren't any black warriors in the Iliad or any classical Greek canon for that matter. It's Memnon you're referring to (who wasn't even in the Iliad), and given that the same people who say he was black are also the same people who think that Achilles and Patroclus (along with the rest of Greek society) were gay, I wouldn't give much credence to something like that either.
There's at least a slim chance that there could've been a few mercenaries hailing from someplace like Nubia, but that's about as far as I'd stretch it. And I only say that based on the historical war than on Homer's telling of it.
