Granger made a public appearance at her portrait unveiling last month (Nov 19 2024).
That's not exactly an official duty. Her last vote was in July.
She announced her retirement in 2023, and did not run for re-election in 2024. Craig Goldman won her seat.
This is the sketchiest part, though. What a bunch of bullshit technicalities. Also, some wrong "technicalities." She didn't "retire." Granger is still serving, on paper. Goldman will - emphasis on will, future tense - be taking the seat...in January. Granger is still a representative for Texas's 12th district.
Libs of TikTok is correct, and the community note is lame excuses. The only thing you could quibble over is "missing," which was put in quotes anyway and probably somewhat humorous. Regardless, the point being made is completely correct, and I don't care about any of the technicalities.
That community note is so misleading:

Gay community note, in this case.
I know. I voted it as unhelpful. It's like a snopes factcheck
A little strange that a "misinformation" WeLl AcKsHuAlLy Community Note was made defending a Republican congresswoman from Texas.
Must be the RINO Con Inc. crowd circling the wagons.
I know they don't want you focusing on the fact that they've been counting votes with differences that fit on one hand, and this just came up.
