Some are explaining her looks as "aging"

Just point out how they went over-the-top in beautifying Geralt. Compare Witcher 1(which is more true to the books) and Witcher 3, where he gets hit with the hollywood model stick.

I'm not surprised they uglified Ciri in the least, but damn is it depressing to see.

Geralt in Witcher 3 is a model? This is the first comment I've ever seen about this. He's just an extremely fit guy, which naturally enhances looks.
