This election wasn’t about policy. It was about fundamental principles, and voters knew exactly what they were voting for. This was a clear choice between a candidate who pledged to defend America’s founding values, democracy and the rule of law and a populist demagogue who pandered to a sense of grievance and promised to bring down the price of groceries.
Projection and an inverse of reality. Hell, Kamala, too, said she would bring down the price of groceries (while failing to answer why she hasn't already when she's already in office).
My libtard friend insists that's because the VP has no power and Kamala's sole purpose was to get Biden elected. When I pointed out that both Biden and Kamala said that wasn't true and she was an active part of the administration, his little pea brain came up with the "they're both lying".
I of course followed up with, why would lying benefit them at all. He had no real answer other than "voters are unsophisticated". Which didn't really make any since and he refused to elaborate.
Amusingly enough, his initial reaction to the election was "welp guess Trump won" because the media was too busy shidding their pants in shock to pen articles to tell him how he should feel. Now he's big mad and thinks the Republicans cheated.
I fucking hate these NPC hylic niggercattle so much it's unreal.

Seeing as how this was a big talking point by some while also then decrying what Vance would do as VP with all that [lack of] power, what's your friends thought process on Vance?
lost so hard...💀
