Do women traditionally do the Haka? I thought only the tribal warriors did it? Anyone know
it's an intimidation thing for war, that's why women look so goofy doing it. it's not for them.
Hilariously when they performed the haka against a Japanese team the japanese misinterpreted the words "Ka mate ka mate" as "Ganbate Ganbate" Which means "Do your best! We're rooting for you!" So the Japanese thought the NZ team had created a song and dance just for them to wish them luck and it had the opposite of its intended effect.
The men look just as goofy doing it
