It's a couple of factors mixing together. First, simping. Just good old fashioned simping. The Right has a huge problem with guys being blue pilled still on women, so any women that says the right things and isn't fat is going to cruise right past their defenses and get dudes to simp for her hard. The right's problem with simps could be its own dissertation level post, but suffice to say that's one of the top reasons for Tulsi support. She's a not-fat woman who is saying some nice things. That's gonna get like 70% of dudes to furiously hat-tip right out of the gate.

Next, the right's crippling and pathological desire to be seen beating the game at the Left's rules. Nothing gets a tradcuck harder than being able to smugly say "The Left are the real racists/sexist/bigots/(you'll see homophobe added to this in less than a decade)". Hurr party of Lincoln. Who founded the KKK again? Amiright guys?

I can't tell what psychological condition is driving this underlying desire, but there are so many on the right who simultaneously claim to despise the Left, but who also incorporate the Left's rules and definitions of winning/losing into themselves a desperately want to win on the Left's playing field. Maybe it's some weird childhood desire for approval or resentment for not getting picked first in dodgeball. I have no idea, but they won't even accept that they won unless the Left tells them they're winning, and they need to win according to the Left's rules for that to happen. So they end up doubling down on shit the Left is the one who cares about. "Oh yeah, we put even more black people into positions of power than the Democrats" and "Look at us, we hand leadership over to women more than even the Democrats do, aren't we really the forward thinking ones?"

It's sickening and pathetic, but it's a major factor in Tulsi-simping, as well as a ton of choices the right makes. They never have the confidence and fullness of self to wield power the way their own principles and ideas would dictate they do. They always whiff it at the last second and wield power in a way they want the Left to see and approve of, like a teenager uncomfortable in his own skin and seeking approval from his own bullies.

And last; the Right has been infected by a ton of Leftists. That comic about the leftist getting pushed out of the Democrat party for not going radical enough, and then getting picked up and welcomed by the Right is a real thing. The MAGA movement has prided itself on being a big tent that welcomes former Democrats and Leftists. While that was useful to win elections, the act of governing with that mindset afterwards is going to be even more challenging if not impossible. Because we've got a shit ton of people inside the wire now who are totally on board with like 95% of radical leftist policies. There are now a lot of people who claim to be on our side, appear to be on our side, and we even watched them fight with us on our side to win, but who actually disagree with almost everything we want and if they get a chance to enact what they want instead of what we want, they will. Tulsi is one of those snakes.
